• Adding Rep Adjustments


    1. Login to FastGem (Front End) 
    2. Hover Over 'Resources.' Click on 'Utilities.' 
    3. In the 'Description' field, type in the description of the standard fee you would like withheld from each sale for reps onboarded into FastGem. In the 'Effective Date' column, choose the date in which you would like to start withholding this fee.

  • Editing Snapshot Payroll- NEW RELEASE!

    • **You must have the 'Payroll Admin' permission assigned in order to access this feature. 


    • ** To review information on how to access and utilize 'Snapshot Payroll', please see the help topic titled 'Taking a Snapshot of Payroll'. 


    • Login to your FastGem. Hover over 'Reporting', and click on 'Payroll.' This will bring you to your Snapshot history of Payroll. 
    • To add notes to a particular rep(s) payroll, click the 'Edit' icon to the right of the snapshot date you are wanting to add to.
    • Click on the green 'Plus sign' icon to the right of the 'Notes' section. In the dropdown box titled 'Rep', selec the rep whose payroll you want to add the note to. Then, click into the box to the right and type the note you wish to relay. When you are done, click 'Save'. 
    • You should now see the note reflected on the person's payroll in which you edited. 
    • You can also click the 'Trash Can' icon to delete snapshots to override them.
    • By clicking the 'Preview' icon (Eyeball), you can also get a preview of the snapshot instead of clicking into it. 
  • Finalizing Payroll (Making Viewable)

    *You must be a Payroll Admin in order to access this feature. 

    • Login to FastGem and hover over 'Payroll' Tab, then hover over Manage Payroll, and click on Snapshot Payroll. 
    • If you are running your weekly payroll, just lick on 'Run'. If you need to search for specific cleared dates, you can do so by filtering the dates as shown below. 


    • Review data displayed for each rep as needed, and click the checkbox to the right of each payroll entry for the entries that you want to be included in your 'Finalized  Payroll' (Released/Viewable Payroll). Once Finalized, these selected entries will be viewable to the reps that they are tied to.
    • While reviewing Ran Payroll, you can click on 'Hide Details' to collapse all details and only view by rep. You can then click on each orange bar to expand the details for that specific tab. 


    • Once you've reviewed and made all of the necessary selections. You are ready to 'Finalize' your payroll. You can do this by clicking the calendar icon in the top right hand of the Payroll Menu to select the date you want this payroll to be finalized for. Then, click 'Finalize.' Click 'OK' when prompted to make sure you want to send this payroll into View. 

    Once you have completed these steps, your reps that have payroll assigned to them in the finalized batch, will be able to login and see a breakdown of their expected pay. 

  • How to View Payroll- Updated 1/26/2021

    1. Login to your FastGem
    2. Hover over 'Payroll' and click on 'View Payroll' 
    3. Select and click on the date that you are wanting to lookup Payroll for OR click on the 'Preview icon' to the right of that date  circled in the diagram. With either option, you will see your payroll displayed for that time period. 



    NOTE: If you do not have payroll assigned for the date you click on, no data will show once you click on the date.

    UPDATE: The 'PROJECTED PAYROLL' feature has since been added to FastGem: Please see below : 


    Once a Work Order is created for your customer,  you can now view what's called a 'Projected Payroll' when you navigate to Orders>Appointments/Work Orders and open a specific  work order record in 'Edit' view, and expand the 'Payroll' tab on the right hand menu. 

    This will show as long as there is a package and rep assigned to the work order. 



  • Problem: Account doesn't show up in payroll.

    Problem: Account doesn't show up in payroll. 

    Resolution: Check payment cleared status and date. Make sure Payment Cleared date is shown. 

    1. From Front- end, Click on 'Appointments' tab. Type the name of the customer in search bar. Hit the 'Enter' key on your keyboard. Click on customer name to go to link to submission page for that customer. 

    2. Click the 'Edit' button. 

    3. View the 'Payment Cleared Date' field.
