YOU MUST BE AN INTERNAL USER WITH ADMIN PERMISSION ENABLED TO ACCESS THIS FEATURE!

SOLUTION: ENSURE THE APPLICABLE FORM FIELD NAMES ARE INCLUDED IN THE INPUT VALS COLUMN OF THE SUBMISSION DATA LAYOUT LIST.

To find which fields are missing, compare the Submission Data to the Raw Data. Keep in mind that sensitive data fields will not appear here.

From the 'Submissions' tab in Frontend, click into the submission you're needing to edit & expand 'Submission Data' at the top of the screen. Now, scroll to the bottom of the screen and expand the 'Raw Data'.

Using both expansions, carefully browse through the Submission data & the raw data, comparing what information is not showing in Submission data to what IS present in the raw data. When you become aware of what is missing, move to the next step.

On the left hand side of the 'Raw Data' line that you are looking at, copy the text code (not the :) pertaining to whatever it is you're needing to show up in Submission Data. This is the form field name. You will need this copied to your clipboard for the upcoming steps. (NOTE: If the form field name has spaces in it, you'll need to open the form in back end and change the applicable field name(s) to have underscores rather than spaces, and copy that new form name with underscores to your clipboard instead.)

***OPEN A SEPARATE TAB IN YOUR BROWSER AND LOGIN TO BACKEND (ADMIN) FASTGEM.  KEEP THE FIRST TAB OPEN, AS YOU WILL NEED TO CLICK BACK AND FORTH TO COMPARE.

Click on 'Config'.

Click on the horizontal tab titled 'SUBMISSION DATA'.

Click the 'CLICK TO EDIT' button.

***YOU WILL SEE DISPLAY, TYPE, & INPUT VALUES. DB FIELDS ARE ONLY NECESSARY WHEN THE FIELD IS A DATABASE FIELD--A FIELD THAT EXISTS IN THE CUSTOMER RECORD AND CAN BE FILLED IN VIA FORM SUBMISSION (CUSTOMER NAME, REP, ETC). THE DISPLAY IS WHAT THE 'TITLE' OF THE INFORMATION IS DISPLAYED AS IN THE SUBMISSION DATA IN FRONT END. THE TYPE IS THE TYPE OF VALUE IT IS, AND THE INPUT VALUE IS THE 'NAME' OF THE FORM FIELD, WHICH IS THE TEXT THAT YOU WERE INSTRUCTED TO COPY IN THE FIRST SET OF DIRECTIONS. NOTE THAT THERE CAN BE MULTIPLE INPUT VALUE OPTIONS, AS DIFFERENT FORMS MAY HAVE FIELDS NAMED SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THINGS. AS LONG AS THE FIELD NAME IS ENTERED IN THE INPUT VALS COLUMN HERE, (AND PREFERABLY DOESN'T HAVE SPACES) FASTGEM WILL RECOGNIZE IT AS BELONGING TO THE APPLICABLE DISPLAY NAME, TYPE, DB FIELD, ETC.

Scroll until you find the proper Display name, and then, click and expand the box of Input Values for that Display. Scroll to the end of the list of values in that box. Insert a 'comma (,)' (NO SPACES) and then paste the form name value you copied from the raw data.

Be sure and set the 'type' of value to the correct selection. If the value in raw data has brackets ( [ ] ) around it, be sure and select 'ARRAY' as the type. For the type of value we used in this example, you will choose 'FORM' as the type. You will almost always want to choose 'FORM' as the type, unless the field corresponds to 'Sensitive Data' (SSN, DOB, etc) in which case you should select 'DB' as the type.

Continue doing this for each missing value until you are finished adding missing information.

Click 'Done' in the Submission Data Box in ADMIN when you are finished.

(Note: if any of the form field names you've entered in the Input Vals column correspond to sensitive data, you will also need to enter these field names in the 'Sensitive Data Fields' box below the Submission Data Layout list. If any of these field names are for fields like signature fields which should not be included in either the Raw or Submission data, enter them in the 'Remove from Data' box. See article 'Hiding Sensitive Data from Submission/Raw Data' for more information.)

Click the green 'Save' icon at the top left of the screen. All done.
